Annual Fund
Every student. Every teacher. This year, we invite you to make Oakwood’s students and teachers your philanthropic priority. Behind the Annual Fund are incredible students with boundless potential. Tuition alone does not cover the full cost of the Oakwood educational experience; your support helps bridge the gap and lets every student’s story unfold.
Every gift is put to use right away, with an immediate impact on teacher salaries, facilities, athletics, and programs such as STEAM, theatre, debate, music, and visual arts.
Donors who make combined annual gifts of $10,000 or more are recognized as members of the Head of School Circle and are invited to a special spring donor appreciation event with Head of School Jaime A. Dominguez.
INCREDIBLE PROGRAMS & EXPERIENCES MADE POSSIBLE BY THE ANNUAL FUND

Performing Arts: Nurture our students’ creative talents, which have led to honors like four recent Jerry Herman High School Musical Theatre Award nominations.

STEAM: Fuel student engineers to design, build, and race hydrogen-powered cars. Our teams have won first place at the World’s Hydrogen Grand Prix Hybrid Finals for five years in a row.

Debate: Build safe spaces for critical thinking and respectful debate, preparing students to become strong, confident, knowledgeable, and award-winning debaters who use their voices with purpose.

Multidisciplinary Culminations and Signature Showcases: Inspire students with fun ways to share their academic mastery and artistic discoveries and while expressing themselves at events such as First Grade Earth Gallery and Arts Festival.

Owl Athletes: Provide our student-athletes with excellent coaching and equipment so they can develop their athleticism, support their overall wellness, grow as teammates and leaders, and compete at the highest level as championship-winning teams.

Financial Assistance: Uplift students so they can take part in all aspects of school life by covering essentials beyond tuition, such as daily lunches, textbooks, athletic equipment, and Prom.

Innovation: Level up our campuses and care for our larger environment with sustainable projects, such as the Energy Savings Initiative, which uses reflective roofing to keep our learning environments cool during hot valley summers.

Immersive Learning: Spark deep curiosity through unique and memorable Oakwood experiences, including the two-week Immersion program, where students engage in hands-on, exploratory learning beyond the classroom, and grade-level outdoor adventure trips.

WHEN SHOULD I GIVE?
Make your Annual Fund gift or pledge TODAY! Early participation, by January 14, helps Oakwood plan with confidence and ensures your investment is felt throughout the year. Pledge payments are due June 1. -
HOW MUCH SHOULD I GIVE?
We kindly ask you to make Oakwood a philanthropic priority and give at a level that feels both meaningful and generous. By striving for full participation, we celebrate our shared commitment to our students and faculty. -
ARE DONATIONS TAX-DEDUCTIBLE?
Oakwood School is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Our Tax ID number is: 95-1698608. -
HOW DO I MAKE MY GIFT?
Oakwood School accepts gifts by cash or check, Donor Advised Fund, securities transfer, electronic funds transfer, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and one-time or recurring credit card payments.
